Team Talk?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone uses the Vent server while they play warframe? I have signed into it a few times and no one is there. Would be nice to have people to chat to while we game don't you think?

Who thinks that they will use the vent server?

I've tried, and failed many times, to get Ventrillo to work for me.
It doesn't so I don't use it.

how about we use skype, thats good enough for 4 people at a time isn't it

I've never tried Skype, but I'm willing to give it a go once I've finished ripping this DVD

I also have zero problems with Mumble or Teamspeak if either of these are options for you.

I'll track you down in game later and see what we can do.

i have teamspeak but i don't own a server or know of one where people can just jump on

Raidcall is a free speech tool as well

Haha, I think we all need to agree on a communication server and use that, so maybe set up a vote or something? I have warframe running so anyone wants to talk about it we can do in the clan chat.

EDIT: I have been looking through different voice servers, I am quite interested in the RaidCall system, it is entirely free and from what I have seen so far it is very easy to use, would everyone be open to using this as our voice server? I have already started to make the Clan thing, can delete it if people wish to use a different server.

I can log in, but once in I have major issues getting the app to work with my headphones\mic.
Probably an easy enough fix, but after a whole day of pissing about with no results to show I went back to Mumble, which works fine with no fiddling required.

I'll have another crack at getting Ventrillo to work..

I have used raidcall for raids in wow before, it was not not as good as the established speech servers at that time but it was certainly workable and it probably has been improved since i last used it.

Yeah, Ventrilo can be a bitch if the settings play up, usually it just takes the default settings from windows but if u have different settings there compared to yr games it can be hard to find the right settings.

I have a bunch of teamspeak servers that the clan could use , if you are interested....

Well youve got my attention

Teamspeak you need some kind of private server, they are quite cheap, we have other way and it's using raidcall, i like to use both of them since they use low frequencies and don't lagg the game.

Well while we get those setup if we do at all we might as well use skypes becuse i think most of us probaly have it

Skype get's too noisy sometimes <.<

I haven't really noticed probably due to me only being in calls with a couple of people at once
